Yes, California gas STINKS!!! We also have the MTBE additive that further drains the quality of the fuel. The only good news we have is that CA. has met the 5 year time duration using MTBE and we no longer have to use it. The only station out here I know of that no longer uses MTBE is 76 as...
Ojas,
Sorry to hear the bad news!!!
I assume that the dealer did a "teardown" of the motor to see the damage?... Did they only take the oil pan out to see or did they separate the heads from the top too?
I have seen 3 NSX's with spun rods and have never seen damage so extreme as to ruin the...
Ouch!!! Sorry to hear!
Make sure that the alum. radiator support is still in one piece... I had a run in with a dip at a high speed and it did a number on the support bar.
I dont know about your hood though... Sounds kind of bad to do that kind of damage.
Good Luck!
Does anyone have a stock chip or aftermarket chip they want to sell for a 91+ 3.0 5spd?
Thanks!

WOW Gene!!!
Geez, I heard thru the grapevine but had no idea it was that bad!!! I am very glad to hear that you are ok!
Looking at the damage I would have imagined more than just a few scratches on ya! ... thank fate that you are ok!
For you being a big guy I am also glad to hear that you...
Allan,
If you go yellow, just make sure it is the bright (spa type) yellow. I cant stand the dull yellow look.
You also cant go wrong with black. Like Wesley says... "Always bet on black"
What about that new Imola (did I type that right???) Orange?
92NSX, It almost sounds like you are taking the needles off???
Just to be sure that you know (so dont yell at me cause im just checking ) you do not have to remove anything. The new indiglos slip right under the needles. Do not remove the needles.

IMO I doubt that is is a fuel related problem. If you were running that lean you should have tripped a check engine light. I am also pretty sure that if you were having any kind of injector failure that you would have also tripped a check engine light.
It does sound like a TCS problem to...
Hey Leonard!
Since you have the NOS you should stick a fuel pressure gauge in one of them.
Oil temp is a good one too. My favorite is my EGT (exhaust gauge temp) gauge. It really lets you know when you are pushing the limits
Congratulations Corey!!!
Did you happen to see the new rule Lud posted regarding ownership of a new 02 model??? You have to loan out your car every other weekend to a fellow NSX'er!
I am very happy for you

I double checked on the clicking noise and you guys are totally correct
Thanks! What would I do without you guys???
I think I am just noticing the noise for the first time due to my top interior cover to the back window being off for repair. I seem to be hearing everything back there now.
OK, now I dont fel as bad...
I was confused at the blank 1 and 2 on the service manual too.
It could be my o2 sensors as they are getting old but, I have been hearing an electric device clicking on and off depending upon my RMP's (starts at 4300) and clicks again when I take my foot off of...
Ok, so I am a retard
I cant fiqure out what this sequence of flashes means...
two short flashes following a short pause and then one more short flash.
I have no idea how to fiqure this one out. I looked at the service man. but it is greek to me.
Any help would be great!
Thanks!!!

Get ready to replace BOTH at the same time too. Mine began to leak and the dealer wanted $400 just for the main unit. I dont remember how much the rear was. The labor was $200 for both.
I ended up getting used ones for $200 and did it myself.
Good Luck!
