With all the ppls on waiting list you guys should start your own costal group lol.

Lol. Could be. When we did the super car sunday run i felt all alone up in the front with no one around. Maybe 20 cars should go and 15-16 be on team 2.
 
If we can organize a second group, I am in, tentatively, since Oct 16 is still more than a month away, and I don’t know if something else will come up. I don't think I have a shot by getting on the waiting list.
 
Put yourself on the wait list please. And please understand, the meeting point and restaurant won't be disclosed to those not paid and on the original list. Lunch will be prepaid and there will be open slots when it comes time to pay, as always. The restaurant is usually filled and this is one of the reasons there is a limit to the amount of attendees, as well as keeping 30-40 cars kinda together as a group. One year there were 70 people at lunch (impossible to find a location that will agree to that headcount) and it was hard for all of us to get food in a timely fashion. Imagine 40 hungry people showing up all at once hungry......hope you get the idea.

I understand in previous years it's the food venue that has been the major limitation to headcount. Well, organizing the big caravan of people is also a pain but somewhat manageable.

Is it ok to propose that waitlist people simply join the drive only? I think that's at least half the fun :)
