The STMPO Messiah Exhaust

F*ck the sound, how much power does it make

lol.. power is made by flow... flow increases by stepping and overall diameter... stepping also reduces drone (if you understand high/low pressure... it makes sense)

So here are the birds..

Power - flow
Sound - burns
Material - 316
Fitment - every single one
Weight - lightest SS system
Drone - stepping

Only a Messiah could hit 6 birds with one stone.

Regards

The mufflers mentioned all have by-pass pipes... meaning when pressure increases.. exhaust misses the mufller all together. But the back path of the exhaust is where the drone comes from. We feel we can get the "sound desired" by changing the style of the muffler instead of 'unnecessary piping"

Burns mufflers are fiberglass packed perferated SS cans and flowmaster/magnaflow are "baffled" mufflers.

We were going to make headers but were gonna skip that part and move on.

We are after the dynamic exhaust without the drone.. drone is a "step back of exhaust gasses" that we are trying to limit by our pipe diameter stepping design... seen in the jpeg above.

Dynamic meaning... interchangable mufflers, cats, and also NA1 - NA2... everything ever sold has been the opposite of dynamic.. and an "adapter pipe" profit was recieved by retailers to build "frankensteins" everwhere. NSX owners trying to change today get a head ache.

Our exhaust is designed to work on any NSX with Any header... no matter what!

I'm going to keep how we did that to ourselves.. you just need to submit your car chassis (NA1/NA2) and your Header type (NA1/NA2)

We have a total of 18 " s on each side of the x-pipe... we can make this exhaust work with a quiet or loud muffler of choice.

We like the burns but they are pricey.. our replica muflflers are the exact same style as Burns and were excited to hear the first results.

Regards

mmm... Would love to hear this in action then :D

Lets get some vids up.

Very keen to see some Dyno figures.

When a Ferrari drives past it makes your dick twitch, but unfortianatly the nsx can drive past and you may not of even notice it has, it needs a epic sound. Doesn't need to be crazy loud, just needs to turn heads for the right reasons.

Ok so does that mean your system includes your own version of the burns muffler but for a extra $400 you can have the real official burns muffler?

I would love to go the decat route but i really don't think i could pull it off, the 5 0 are hot where i live so think i will have to go the cat way (sheds) do you offer these in different veriants? recent threads offer allot of info on these, several option out there 100, 200, 300 and 400 cell cats. My understanding is the lower the number the better performance but the less enviroment friendly they become which doesnt really bother me too much, it's a weekend car, minimal amount of miles i just need it to look legally for when the 5 0 pull me over and check the car out. The once a year emission test i can always put stock system back on if needed.

My main aim is, best performance with best sound while not being uber crazy loud and looking legal by the naked eye.

My experience has been that we own the car made by the most emmissions friendly motor company.. Honda's in AZ have actually passed emmissions with no cats.. amazing.

So the lowest cell rating would be ideal.. as long as the cat is metallic... it is designed for a long life.

Our Magnaflow cat "Shelter" is designed to meet or exceed the emmissions requirement...

I hope that helps.. and I want sound clips more than anyone... trust me.

How are the pipes polished internaly? That inside looks better than the outside. LOL...

I want the inside of my rollbar polished.... just in case a chick looks in there... :D

I think we all want out pipes polished inside and out  hey oh! lol

Exhaust looks amazing, design is incredible, if I didnt plan to go boost in the future I would have you write any number on a piece of paper and I would pay it lol.

That's probably one of the nicest sounding exhausts I've heard for the Nsx! It's agressive revving up and very minor drone when the RPM's are going down.

Hopefully tomorrow... I told a local NA2 we would do a timing tb/wp/service for only 800.00 in labor... and giving him 200.00 credit towards used 00 headers.... making it 600.00 in labor... he brings the parts.

It's amazing how long it took to get an NA2 car on the rack for a few days... like 2 years... I'm not going to miss that.

Thanks again for bringing the car in Serge.

somehow i don't share the enthusiasm.

Sounds excellent. Would love to hear it on a driveby.

What clutch/fywheel is on that car in the video? It revs VERY quick and sounds great.

lol...

The Shelter is where you collect the cats.....

A dual metalic high flow cat upgrade.... 400.00 more

Regards

I gotta admit, that is some clean and manly looking setup.

This is the best sounding NSX cat back I've heard.

I think all of us have the goal of having our NSX sound like this:

<object style="height: 344px; width: 425px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qCvA3DCOtuE"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qCvA3DCOtuE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></object>

And making the audience giggle like Beavis and Butthead.

<object style="height: 344px; width: 425px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WnezG5FV30I"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WnezG5FV30I" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></object>

I have to admit, Messiah sounds pretty bad ass. I wonder how much of that is because of how fast that NSX revved?

I think it sounds badass too. Much better than the angry bees in a tin can that so many exhausts seem to sound like.

Is that the burns mufflers or the normal ones?

The car doesnt wind up that fast, in fact with the drive by wire it is kinda slow. BUT what is hard to comprehend is just how slight of a throttle blip it takes to produce that sound...

cozmo, it has the normal mufflers....
