46K+ miles. Just recently had its 45K service.
I was hoping to pay her off by the end of my working career but I've got 2 herniated discs and sciatica problems as well and it's even going to become difficult to drive a stick. So I'm retiring. And my retirement income won't permit the balance of...
My '04 NSX was coming up on its 30K service so I made an appointment at Rallye Acura on Long Island (just 4 miles from where I live) for a day when I work from home.
$900 ! Hmmmmm. Well, it's an "exotic" for sure and 30K seemed a fairly significant number so I just made the appointment for...
My new baby arrived today and I ran over to pick it up.
Looks like brand spankin' new. '04 Imola Orange/Orange with 21,721 miles !!! Drives like brand new, straight and true. Wa-hooooooo !!! Now that I'm back in the office I hope I can keep that silly grin off my face.

How does one find out WHY his post was deleted ?
Apparently I was a bad boy twice today (although one post they notified me about wasn't even mine)
How do you know what you did wrong 9or even what POST it was) if they don't tell you ?
TIA
Which would you buy and why ?

Thanks.
Yes - I searched.
Is the premature tire wear of the NSX due solely to the softness of the tire itself or do other things come into play ?
Is it because the NSX drivers tend to burn out more often from a standing start, take curves far more briskly or it there something...
Looking at an NSX whose factory warranty expires next June ('07) the (Acura) dealer tells me it is NOT a "certified used" Acura. Huh ?
He goes on to tell me it's another $2,400 to "certify" it.
"OK, so what does the certification get me ?"
"5 years, 62K miles bumper to bumper and 7 years...
I asked a guy about his leather interior color and he said he might just dye it another color.
Anybody ever try ? Do it yourself ? Have it done professionally ? If so, how'd it come out ?
OK, suppose you can't find the NSX, or at least one you WANT, in the color you want.
So you find a great year NSX with the mileage and condition you want and decide to PAINT it the color you like best.
What would a high quality re-paint cost (and where might one have it done) ?
Oh, and...
'04 NSX 10K Miles $70K
'03 NSX 22K Miles $65K
'02 NSX 22K Miles $60K
All things being equal - that is all 3 cars are in excellent (no repair, no paint, no mechanical problems) which would you consider the better buy and why ?
Thanks
With the talk about clutch wear and expense of replacing etc, for someone that doesn't track their car and simply enjoys riding around in it, I wonder if it would make more sense to have an automatic ???
Clutches can go at pretty much anytime. What would be the difference in the automatic ...
So for about 6 years now since my company took away our company cars (Chevy Blazer) and thankfully replaced it with a raise)) I've been driving some pretty nice machinery.
M Roadster, '98 NSX, M3 Convertible, CLK430 Cab, etc......
Anyway, while I am in a Lead Tech/Manager type position at...
Parting would be such sweet sorrow.
I am looking to buy a home and would feel far more comfortable with the mortgage payments if I did NOT have my new leased '05 NSX.
It's a blue '05 with approx 2800 miles and NO issues. The mileage is exactly average for the 3.5 months I've had the car. One...
You may or may not have noticed my "signature" before ("Overhauling the "fleet"). Well, the deal's been done.
I had a '00 CLK Cab, a '00 S4, and a '02 M3 Convert. Due to a variety of personal circumstances it was taking me quite a bit of time to sell these cars, or perhaps more accurately...
I am on the verge on leasing a new NSX. I've seen at least one "signature" around here and (more than ?) a few posts about an NSX being leased and still modified.
I believe I've seen the Comptech Supercharger referred to as being on the NSX and taken off when returned.
I'm guessing that is...
Is there any way of accessing or otherwise finding out the existing dealer inventory nationwide on new (or used for that matter) NSX' ?
I originally thought the Acura website had that but I can't find it.
TIA
I had a Spa Yellow '98 NSX for awhile and LOVED the (intake ?) sound directly behind my head when I accelerated. What a rush ! Hardly ever even heard the exhaust though.
I think, to some extent, manufacturer's don't pay enough attention to how a car sounds.
I have an '02 M3 for about 3 years...
I believe this has been discussed before but I can't find it so bear with me here.
I am considering (again) an NSX but I have some concerns regarding the effect of either the NSX being discontinued entirely, or, a new NSX hitting the market, either around the same or higher price, or even a...
